Letter to Parents

Dear Parents,

     Welcome to a new school year! I am so excited to inform you about our counseling program at Allentown Elementary.  Our program will focus on the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Citizenship and Caring. Good character does not develop spontaneously.  Rather, it is the result of conscientious efforts to instill and reinforce ethical values in a way that makes them second nature. Activities on Knowledge of Self and Others, Career and Educational Development will also be addressed.

 We will continue with our GATOR Kid Program this year.  GATOR Kids are students who display true character traits. Those students will be given special recognition over the school's intercom system along with a certificate and T-shirt. New GATOR Kids are selected each month.

I am looking forward to another great year of working with the students at Allentown.  I am available for individual and small group counseling on various topics with students.  Please feel free to call me at 221-1000 with any concerns for your child.
